Murder on the high seas. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? On a recent writer's conference at sea, we didn't actually murder anyone, but my friend JL Wilson plotted out a new story featuring a literary agent who played fast and loose with her appointments.
I, on the other hand, spent time avoiding the sun and trying hard to eat the right foods. The workshops were fun and informative, though many conference goers were distracted by all the activity on the ship.
Instead of going on and on about the cruise, I thought I'd share this pic with our cruise ship in the background. That's me in the black hat along with JL Wilson on the right. To my left is our own very delightful Rhonda Penders.
Lots of authors, lots of books, lots of fun.All in all, a good way to spend the weekend.

Maggie you were so cute in your anxiousness to meet Rhonda. Who was the man next to you, that you lept over to meet and hug her. (grin)
Next time I hope there is better weather for you.
Hi Maggie,
You've renewed my excitement about the cruise my hubby, son, and I are going on 2 days after he graduates from h.s. this year. Lasts year, we went on our first one, and it turned out to be a lot more fun than I had thought though I had to take a sea sickness tablet every day.
