Well come to my porch. Sit a spell. Read a book. Actually this is not
a real porch. It's an acrylic painting on a plain brown door at the
end of my hallway. This type of painting is called trompe l'oeil
(French meaning "to fool the eye"). Writing is more than a visual
experience. It uses all senses and emotions. In my latest
