Excited and Humbling

To be honest, I stalk The Wild Rose Press site to see how my books are doing. I hate to admit it, but it's the truth. It's the writer crazy writer in me, but as of 11:50 p.m. on November 4, 2008, my debut novel, How Much You Want to Bet?, is #1 and See Megan Run is #2 on the Champagne (General) line on the bestseller list.

I can't put into words how I feel today about that. It's something about seeing your hard work get appreciation. It's really something about slaving over books, thinking your book is going into the black whole of publishing and realzing that...maybe it's not.

I just want to thank everyone for buying my books. It means so much to me that 1.) You bought my book. 2.) You must be telling your friends that my books are good.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is an author's dream. It may be on a small scale, but to me it means the world.
